Sara de Bono was born and raised in Spain. After earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Film, TV, and Radio, she moved to the UK and officially started her career in 2024.  She has quickly built a strong foundation, working internationally in nearly 30 films and vertical dramas for numerous well stablished production companies, not only as Assistant Director, but also as a Production Supervisor and Casting Director.

By January 2026, she has joined international teams as PK Studio Productions in Canada and Continental Studios Europe.

With base in United Kingdom, Sara has worked on numerous Vertical Drama productions for companies based in the UK and Canada. Beyond her production and AD roles, a key part of her job is building efficient teams and training them in the unique demands of this format. She can train not only in the production process, crewing up, budgeting, ideal cast and locations that the clients are looking for, but also the pace that is needed so we wrap timely and production doesn’t incur on expenses for overtime.
Having worked on different production companies and crews, she knows that each of them work differently, so with experience in both production and as 1st AD, she has a production and filming strategy that works to make these productions efficient within the tight schedules while getting high quality material without missing any detail.

The goal: to produce high-quality Spanish and bilingual vertical dramas across Europe, with a special focus on Spain. Navigating production in Spain can be complex due to bureaucracy, but as a native, she knows the landscape and the professionals who make the process smoother.

She works with teams based in Europe, Canada, US and Mexico.
