Sara de Bono was born and raised in Spain. After earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Film, TV, and Radio, she moved to the UK in 2014. Although she officially began her film career in 2024, she has quickly built a strong foundation, working across numerous films and vertical dramas, not only as Assistant Director, but also as a Casting Director and Production Manager.

With base in United Kingdom, Sara has worked on numerous Vertical Drama productions for companies based in the UK and Canada. Beyond her production and AD roles, a key part of her job is building efficient teams and training them in the unique demands of this format. She can train not only in the production process, crying up, budgeting, ideal cast and locations that the clients are looking for, but also the pace that is needed so we wrap timely and production doesn’t incur on expenses for overtime.
Having worked on different production companies and crews, she knows that each of them work differently, so with experience in both production and as 1st AD, she has a production and filming strategy that always work to make these productions efficient within the tight schedules.
